The Drop Box Drops Today

Focus on the Family in conjunction with Kindred Image release their new documentary The Drop Box today through Fathom Events. The film is an intimate look at the work of Pastor Lee Jong-rak, a South Korean minister who for decades has manned a “drop box” to collect unwanted babies. It runs in select U.S. theaters for a special engagement, March 3, 4 and 5 (with encore showings on March 11 and 16). In Canada, the dates are March 4, 5 and 9.

Plugged In’s Adam Holz offered his thoughts on the film here. Anything I could add here feels like it might be self-serving, given this publication’sparent ministry’s strong connections with the movie and all. But that’s just as well. The Drop Box speaks eloquently for itself.

So we wanted to throw this space open to you—giving a forum for you to discuss The Drop Box after you see it. And we’ll be looking forward to hearing from you.
