Unrolling the Red Carpet for the PIMA Awards

What were the best movies of 2015?

That’s the question we have been asking through our Plugged In Movie Award nominees as we’ve highlighted the cream of the crop in our four categories: Best Movie for Kids, Best Movie for Teens, Best Movie for Adults, and Best Christian Movie. (Sorry, hamsters, still no “Best of” category for you this year.)

You have been weighing in with your votes and opinions as to who should win in each category, and our team of intrepid reviewers and editors have gathered together and hashed out our Plugged In picks (with only a few drops of blood, sweat, and tears shed in the process). It was awesome to see your thoughts as you weighed in with your votes, and we look forward to hearing what you have to say about this year’s proud Plugged In Movie Award winners.

So, without further ado, I present to you the Plugged In and Fan picks for the best movies of 2015.

Excellent choices all around!  Personally, I appreciate it that you folks at PluggedIn chose "Old Fashioned" as the best Christian movie.  It was sweet -- you were right, there -- and it also filled an important niche.  My mom and I enjoy romance movies, but it's getting harder to find new good ones.  (Pride and Prejudice is great, but the only true version is six hours long.)  "Old Fashioned" blew us away.  It is a very good movie.  Thank you for honoring it.
