Vodcast: How Families, Films and Fall Can Go Together

Vodcast fall

It’s coming close to that time of year again—the time when you smell apple and pumpkin in the air and hear leaves crunching on the ground. It’s fall, my favorite season. There is so much to love. The leaves turning colors, kids going back to school and, of course, Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

But fall isn’t just about the sights and sounds and stuff, it’s about family. And here at Plugged In, we do love families. Lucky for you, you’ve just stumbled upon our vodcast where Paul, Bob and I chat about why fall is not only a great time of year, but why many of us gravitate toward watching movies as a family during the season, too.

Who wrote this?

Kristin Smith is the most recent addition to the Plugged In team. Formerly a Spanish and English teacher, Kristin loves reading literature and eating authentic Mexican tacos. When she's not writing or editing, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband, Eddy, and running through Colorado Springs’ Garden of the Gods. She loves coffee, music, her dog (Cali) and cat (Aslan), and is eagerly awaiting the birth of her first baby, Judah.

Despite all the controversy surrounding it, I still think Show Dogs is the perfect film for families to watch together. I saw it again this past weekend and still loved it just as much as I did in the theater.
